For a while, I’ve been using Amazon Echo Dots to have the Alexa service all over my house. It’s great for controlling my Nest thermostat, playing music, etc.
Recently, though, I installed a Dot in my kitchen, and wasn’t wild over the cables snaking across my counter. On Amazon, I found a great solution in the Matrone wall plug mount for the Echo Dot.
The mount allows you to plug a Dot into any outlet, and have basically no wires. It’s only about $10 bucks, and looks decent. Now you can have an Echo Dot in every room! Jeff Bezos would be proud.
